This policy describes data practices for honestrepaircosts.com. Honest Repair Costs is an independent informational publisher for a primarily U.S. audience.

2. Calculator and quote-check inputs

Foundation type, market selection, quantities, quote amount and red-flag answers are processed locally in your browser. They are not submitted to a server, stored in an account or sent to analytics.

3. Optional analytics

If optional analytics is enabled, Google Analytics 4 loads only after an affirmative choice. It records coarse tool-use events without quote amounts, market, quantities or checkbox answers. Advertising storage, Google Signals and ad personalization are disabled. When analytics is available, you can change your choice through the analytics-preferences control shown on the site.

4. Necessary local storage

When optional analytics is available, the site may store your analytics choice in local storage so it can remember whether analytics may run. Declining does not limit access to the site.

5. Hosting logs

Hostinger may automatically process standard request information such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL, device or browser details and security events to deliver and protect the site. Retention is governed by the hosting provider and the site's hosting configuration.

6. No sale of leads

Honest Repair Costs does not collect quote contact details, sell contractor leads or share calculator inputs for behavioral advertising.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights over personal information. Calculator inputs are not sent to us and the site does not offer user accounts, so we generally cannot identify or retrieve those inputs.
